The PlasticBlitz
22nd June to 7th July 2024
The PlasticBlitz is about clearing plastics and other
rubbish from our waterways, with the eventual aim of
stopping plastic from 昀椀nding its way into the sea or our
drinking water.
Thames21 have some money available to fund the
purchase of litter picking equipment. They also hope to
have training available soon.
If you are working with an outside organisation (not
schools and youth groups), as long as there is a
Rotarian present, the project will be covered by Rotary
insurance. If the organisation is working independantly,
they must have their own insurance and risk assesment.
